I try to make my vases look attractive when they’re not holding flowers. At the same time, I don’t want them too busy and distract from a flower arrangement. This vase is decorated with a black slip inlay. The exterior clay is kept bare and shows the variation from the wood firing.

Porcelain, 9.5” in height. Wood fired, salt glazed.
