My last firing, just two weeks ago, was a great firing. Wonderful crew of friends and fellow artists helping to fire the kiln. We often tweak how we fire the kiln. This firing, we salted the kiln for a full hour, longer than we normally take to put the salt in the kiln. The result was shiny pots deep and rich in color and variation. This mug is a great example.
